Reserve your tickets now for the Bucktown Revue’s next show, 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Davenport Nighswander Junior Theater, 2822 Eastern Ave., Davenport, Iowa. Admission is $13.
Guest performers include: banjo master Jon Eric from Iowa City, bluesy folksinger Roger Carlson, and singer/songwriter Jani Tiska.

The Bucktown Revue is an old-fashioned radio variety program, performed live in front of an audience and recorded for webcast. In the tradition of such ra…dio programs as “A Prairie Home Companion” and “The Grand Ole Opry,” the Bucktown Revue celebrates Mississippi River Valley folk music and culture through a combination of music and humor. The show is rated “E” for “Everybody.”
TBR is written and produced by Michael Romkey. Associate producer Lars Rehnberg and engineer Brandon Andersen are in charge of live and sound and recording. Carol Romkey manages tickets and hospitality, along with Renae Rosenstiel, Alyssa Manweiler and Dana Clearman. The Dispatch/Rock Island Argus sponsor the show.
The Bucktown Revue is 7 p.m. the third Friday of every month, September through May, at the Davenport Junior Theatre, 2822 Eastern Ave., Davenport, Iowa. Tickets are $13 at the door or can be reserved online at www.bucktownrevue.com.
